A Scavenger Hunt

For Daniel's 13th birthday party, we hosted a birthday party and scavenger hunt. Two teams...ready, set, go!

Angie drove one car and I drove the other. Part of the hunt required the teams to go to various places throughout Monroe and take photos of them performing whatever was on the list. Daniel's team won by the skin of his teeth. Angie swears we cheated, but what our team did clearly was not spelled out on a "Don't Do This" list. I made this little video for all of the kids and gave them all credit for winning.

So hey...this little scavenger hunt didn't involve getting a movie ticket did it?

No movie for this one, T-Money. We cooked out in the back yard...hamburgers and hotdogs. The kids jumped on the trampoline, played on the Wii, and then we raced off in cars to a dozen checkpoints. I was trying to keep up with these youngsters and, for some goofy reason, wore flip flops....not smart. I almost had a blow-out! Fortunately, I was able to hold it together until we crossed the finish line. WoooHooo!

that sounds like so much FUN!!! and i thought MY last birthday was fun. that was nothin! the reason tony asked was because we were standing outside the movies, a car drove up, a girl got out and asked tony for his ticket stub for a scavenger hunt, then raced back to the car. so we got home and saw this and were like "i wonderrrr" that would have been really funny

Looks like the kids had a great time! I know what you mean about wearing flip-flops and having a blowout.
